time to reset. This part of the equation cannot be ignored. Getting a good night sleep and rest is imperative. Facing the day with a “ready” mindset sets you up for success.
5. Define Your Target
It’s important to identify an accomplishment when it stands before you. How will you recognize it? Setting clear targets gives you direction. It helps you move forward because you have made the decision to accomplish “x”. Define why hitting this goal is important? What happens if you don’t hit the target? How will that impact yourself and others? Who is relying on you to show up? Sometimes, your decision can affect your public, those people who are waiting to meet you. Once you’ve attained your goal, be sure to celebrate YOU!
6. Pivot
When the “unexpected” rings your doorbell, answer it and become fluid. As life turns, you turn with it. That may include bending, moving faster, or slowing down. Keep your eyes open to what’s in front of you while keeping your target in focus. Flexibility will help you avoid bruises.
7. Forgive You
It’s important to remember that you are human, and humans make mistakes. So, what if you tried, and it didn’t work out? It doesn’t matter. You’re still here. It didn’t take you out. That alone tells you that you are a winner. You may have suffered a setback, but you’re still here. You’re still breathing which means you still have an opportunity for something bigger, better, and greater. You’re kind to others. Be kind to yourself. When you look in the mirror, give yourself a smile. You deserve it. By the way, you’re beautiful. You are important. You are needed.
