and the people in my life. It taught me patience, gratitude, and how to celebrate the little things. It also gave me a lens to see others who were suffering. Exactly nine months after the accident, I stood in front of my therapy family and walked without a walker or cane. I stood straight, and I stood tall. I couldn’t have done it without all the people in my life, even the warden from hell. I realized that
my recovery wasn’t just about me walking again. It was a test of endurance. It was a test of resilience. It took a while, but I passed. This CRASH has pulled the true me out of me. Now, I know that I can truly make it in life. I have what it takes to push through anything. Today, I use the CRASH to help others. I speak at safe driving events. My story really hits home.
