2023 Holiday Board Gala
The success of our 2023 Holiday Gala served as a testament to the support of Callanwolde’s mission to enrich the lives of underserved communities by raising a record-breaking net total of $215,000. These funds will enable us to expand our reach and impact by providing free art classes and art experiences to even more veterans, low-income seniors, students receiving Title I & III assistance, and individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. A highlight of the evening was Cedar Grove Elementary Principal Norman Thomas's moving testimonial, highlighting the profound impact our inaugural Art Scholars Summer Camp
had on his students' academic and emotional development. We were honored by the generous pledges of support during the event from DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond and DeKalb County Commissioners Michelle Long Spears, Steve Bradshaw, and Ted Terry. None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, including Audi Atlanta, The Coca- Cola Company, Alston & Bird, Home Depot, Publix Super Markets Charities, Hammersmith, Atlanta Party Rentals, and Faith Flowers.
