The distinctive and unique Boomerang ® logo, featuring four ‘kylees’* owes its origins to Gordon’s four children and represents the significant link to the Noongar people and the land. The swirls within each Boomerang also illustrate our nation’s waterways which hold real significance to all First Nation peoples. The ‘kylees’ or boomerangs within the brand also represent diversity and ingenuity, something the Boomerang brand always aspires to deliver.
* IN NOONGAR LANGUAGE , a ‘Kylee’ is a flat curved piece of wood similar in appearance to a boomerang that is thrown when hunting for birds and animals. The kylee, is an ancient yet scientifically advanced hunting multi-tool which is extremely effective, durable and strong – all qualities our Boomerang range intrinsically feature.
