BUSINESS I do not know. I do not know that the Bible anywhere tells, and I know nothing* about it except what the Bible dqes tell. I know the resurrection body of Christ was flesh and bones (Luke 24:39), and that the resurrection bodies of believers are tp be like His own (Phil. 3:20, 21). I do not know, however, about the resurrection body of the wicked. If it is flesh and blood, I do not suppose it would be pre cisely tlie same as the flesh and blood are noW; but it will be a real body. All men, both saved and unsaved; get resurrection in Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 15:22). The resur rection body of the righteous is the counter part and perfect expression of the re deemed spirit that inhabits it and partaker with it in all its joy, and the resurrection body of the wicked, I suppose, will be the perfect counterpart of the lost spirit that inhabits it; and partaker with it in all its misery. Who are the “living creatures?’ of Rev. 4 : 6 - 9 ?- I am glad that you spoke of them as “living creatures” as in the Revised Ver sion, and not as “beasts” as in the Author ized Version. Comparing Rev. 4:6-9 with Isa. 6:1-3 we see that the seraphim in Isa. 6:1-3 are represented as uttering practic ally the same cry as the “living creatures” of Rev. 4:6-9, so I take it that these “liv ing creatures” are the seraphim. “Seraphim” means “burning ones,” i. e., burning in their own intense holiness. There is also a striking similarity between the description of the “living creatures” of Revelation with the four living creatures that Ezekiel saw in connection with the revelation of Jeho vah in Ezekiel 1:4-14 (cf. especially Rev. 4:7 with Ezek. 1:10).-. Further on in the description of Ezekiel (v. 13) we are told that the appearance of these living creatures Was . like “burning coals o f fire, like the appearance of torches . . . and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth life,” This, suggests the name used in Isaiah, “the burning ones.”

112 THE KING’: dust. In the Acts of the Apostles we are told of our Lord Jesus that His soul went to Hades, but was not left there, and that His body, which otherwise would have crumbled to dust was preserved from cor ruption (Acts 2:27), a clear distinction being made between the soul and the body and what came to both (see also Acts 2r31). The teaching of the, verse about which' the question is asked, is that even the mightiest of men, even princes, are unworthy of our confidence, because the moment that death overtakes them their plans and projects come to nothing, their “thoughts perish,” Do you think that when our bodies are raised at the resurrection they will be raised from the dust of our present bodies, and if for instance some of our dust is in Asia and some in America if. it will necessarily have to be all collected? What I want to get at is whether you think our new bodies will be raised from our dust, or be clothed over our living soul?' While our resurrection bodies will not he the same as our present bodies (1 Cor. 15 :35-38), they will sustain an intimate relation to our present bodies and come forth in some very real sense from, them, just as {he Wheat that grows front a grain Which is planted in the ground and decays comes from that grain of wheat but is not the same as the grain planted, but takes other particles to itself, so it will be with our bodies (1 Cor. 15:35-38). It is those who are in the grave (John 5:28, 29, and it is our bodies and not'our souls that are in the grave, as already seen) which are to come forth (John 5:28, 29). This does not necessarily involve that every particle of the old b'ody that is scattered has to be brought back for the new .body. It is not likely that every particle of the grain of wheat that disintegrates enters into the wheat that germinates and grows. In fact, it is practically sure that it is not, that some of it goes for fertilization, etc. Will the raised body of the wicked be flesh and blood or flesh and bone?
