Description of changes

Observations and feedback from pilot trainings at Windhunter (23/3-21) and Tesicnor (25/3-21) have led to the following adjustments of the training standard: Version number 0.1 and publish date changed to Ver. 1.0 1 st April 2021 Duration of theory/practical training changed to 95min/145min due to part of theory applied during practical training Aim and objectives of the LU module: Added: The training will provide the participant knowledge of multiple guiding systems and lift types in WTG. Furthermore the participant will learn to perform the necessary pre-use inspections and emergency actions – and when needed take guidance in relevant manuals. Legislation – 2.1.1 added: Examples of local legislation are: Fire precautions or parking of lift during working hours. Lesson 3 – Aim – added: During the module, analogies and differences between lift types, brands and systems will be addressed. Notes added: Note: Theory elements may be implemented in any order depending on the instructor's didactic considerations Note: Theory elements from this lesson should be completed during the practical training in lesson 5 and 6 when feasible and relevant. Element 3.3 learning objective 18) added: and recognizes the importance of inspecting and performing function test of bottom an top switches Element 3.4 New learning objective: 29) The participant recognises special conditions and restrictions in connection with use of lift during fire in the WTG Element 3.4, 3.4.2c added: Restrictions for using lift during fire in the WTG Lesson 4 – the aim is adjusted to prepare for the practical training, and added: The lesson will cover multiple lift brands, -types and -systems Note added: Note: Inspection of lifts will be practiced during the practical training, and theory elements from this lesson may be completed during the practical training in lesson 5 and 6 when feasible and relevant Lesson 5 – Learning objective added: The participants can take responsibility for performing a pre-use inspection of a lift by using the actual manual and checklist and on their own initiative seek further guidance when needed. (Ability, intermediate level) New element 5.2. added to the practical training: Pre-use inspection Learning objective: The participants can take responsibility to perform a pre-use inspection of the lift by following the pre-use inspection check list (Ability, intermediate level) The participants can open and close a door or gate (Skills, basic level) The instructor shall: Facilitate the pre-inspection exercise by offering guidance or support when needed
