O magh Aluminium Systems and installation of the curtain walling, louvres, windows and doors for Little Victoria Street Student Accommodation, working closely with its partner McAleer & Rushe. Established in 2000, OAS is one of the UK and Ireland’s leading architectural Limited (OAS) was responsible for the design, manufacture aluminium glazing specialists. The firm has experienced sustained and controlled growth, through investing in people, new machinery and a high quality 15,000sqft factory facility. Specialising in the residential, office, hotel, public sector and education sectors, OAS has completed more than 1,400 student accommodation apartments in 2023. T he successful completion of the Vita Student Accommodation development on Little Victoria Street marked a significant milestone as Thornton’s fifth PBSA project in Belfast City Centre. Thornton played a pivotal role by installing Axter’s Force Line 3-layer Built- Up Bituminous Felt system on Levels 1, 5, 15 and 16—procured from Strata Waterproofing in Belfast. Additionally, Thornton installed Acheson + Glover’s 400x400mm paving slabs and supports
in the courtyard area on Level 15. Adam Thornton, Operations Director at Thornton, stated, “The project’s success can be attributed to the practical application of top-tier products, coupled with our commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
