HEATING SOLUTIONS

HEATING MANUFACTURER GRANT CONTINUES TO LEAD THE WAY IN PROVIDING INNOVATIVE HEATING TECHNOLOGIES FOR BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS…

Providing a high-quality heating solution for all homes

F or over 45 years, leading heating manufacturer Grant has combined innovation, performance and value for money to develop highly efficient, low carbon heating solutions and in-house services benefitting those the construction industry. This commitment is evident from the company’s continued research and development of new products and its expanding sustainable product portfolio.

simplicity of operation of any boiler type and is available in outputs from 5kW to 33kW. The Spira Pell is easily installed and offers optimal control with an easy-to-use touch screen which provides clear and accurate information on the system’s daily operations. This wood pellet heating system is an alternative to biofuel, for those seeking a completely ‘green’ solution. However, small urban properties are unlikely to be able to accommodate a larger biomass boiler, hopper and buffer vessel. SUPPORTING TECHNOLOGIES In addition to renewable main heat sources, Grant also provides a range of highly sustainable supporting technologies which include pre-plumbed and integrated hot water cylinders, heat emitters including Uflex underfloor heating and Afinia aluminium radiators and smart heating controls to provide optimum efficiency levels. Grant is currently working on two new major R&D projects and will begin to commercialise the first of these in Spring 2024. The Grant Aerona 3 R32 air-to-water air source heat pump range is a favoured choice across Northern Ireland due to its cleaner, environmentally friendly performance.

All new Grant Vortex condensing oil boiler models are compatible with HVO biofuel, while older models can be adapted.

GRANT AERONA 3 R32 AIR-TO- WATER AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP The Grant Aerona 3 R32 air-to-water air source heat pump range is available in four outputs of 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW and the range is a favoured choice across Northern Ireland due to its cleaner, environmentally friendly performance. It has the ability to lower a property’s overall carbon footprint. Reinforcing Grant’s commitment to providing market-leading heating solutions, units within the range have achieved an A+++ energy rating at low temperatures such as 35°C or 45°C. All four models also boast superior seasonal coefficient of performance and depending on climate conditions and demand on the heating system at the time, can deliver 4kW of heat energy for every 1kW of electricity used. The heat pump’s output modulates up or down depending on the exact climate conditions to ensure ultimate energy efficiency for the property. The 13kW and 17kW models within the range have also been recognised by the international award programme Quiet Mark for their low noise qualities. GRANT SPIRA PELL CONDENSING WOOD PELLET BOILER Utilising indigenous wood pellets to offer a truly renewable heating solution, the Grant Spira Pell condensing wood pellet boiler delivers ultra-efficient and cost-effective results. The range delivers up to 95% efficiency and is made using high grade steel and stainless steel, with the same

Grant has largely transformed into a renewable heating company following an R&D breakthrough, with the Vortex condensing boiler adapted to be 100% HVO biofuel-ready. Grant’s product portfolio features ranges of HVO biofuel ready condensing boilers, condensing pellet boilers, solar thermal panels, underfloor heating, hot water cylinders, aluminium radiators, and air-to- water air source heat pumps. This wide range of products ensures that Grant can provide a high-quality heating solution for all homes, whether a heating upgrade, deep retrofit or new build project. GRANT HVO BIOFUEL READY VORTEX CONDENSING BOILER The Grant Vortex was one of the first condensing oil boilers on the market and this unique product was the catalyst for a sustained increase in boiler efficiencies throughout the industry and reduced running costs for property owners. The Grant Vortex condensing boiler range comprises of 22 models with outputs from 15-70kW and comes in various models including boilerhouse, outdoor, combi and utility variants. All new Grant Vortex condensing oil boiler models are compatible with HVO biofuel, helping to future proof homes. Older Grant condensing boilers can also be adapted to HVO biofuel; these modifications can be carried out by a service engineer during an annual service and may require a new biofuel burner matched with the specific boiler.
