HR Certification Test Prep Course HR Certification is not required for employment in HR, but it can be a valuable resource. It is reported that career success can be achieved more quickly with at least one HR certification. Held over nine weeks, participants hear from subject matter experts and work in groups to finish as- signments. Our 2020 spring and fall virtual prep courses hosted a total of 108 HR practitioners . This attendance-breaking year offered accessible participation by hosting virtually without room size or travel restrictions. Executive Series DallasHR members whose titles are a director and above are invited to participate in our invita- tion-only Executive Series events. Three-morning educational sessions with high-profile speakers bring new ideas and topics for group discussion and two networking events are held throughout the year for our executive members to meet, mingle, and share “war stories” with one another. Participation is on the rise with 81 executives from 81 different companies participated throughout the year. Thank you to our Executive Series sponsor, Mercer. HR 101 Year over year registration comparison is unavailable. Both programs were postponed in 2020 due to the safety and technology requirements of the presenter(s). This two-day program is for those new to HR, those that have HR responsibilities but not the title, or those who want a re- fresher for industry updates. HR 101 provides proven, practically applied employment law and an effective HR practice program that provides the tools you need in an easy-to-follow format.
