“We currently have five apprentices with Betaris Training and one (myself, a mature student doing a Level 5) with Stroud College. I wanted to show the staff that no matter how old you are or how far down the career path you are there is always a need to learn more. These are not the first apprenticeships for four of the apprentices, including myself, who are moving up through the levels. The courses all run into 2020, so it is unlikely that we will start any new ones until maybe the following year. "Apprenticeships are important to Listers to provide an extra layer of training to go alongside the in-house, more business specific training that is provided as part of their personal development plan. It gives the apprentices something to work towards and they gain a great sense of achievement once they have completed the apprenticeships." Shortlisted by Betaris Training l
