The lighting has been designed by Michael Grubb Studios, which was commissioned by the Kings Quarter Art Commissioning Panel after a successful tender bid. Director Michael Grubb said: “The unique lighting scheme that will transform the square, taking into account its history. It will also provide an engaging and exciting experience by night.” That will come thanks to mood lighting at floor level and around the edges of the Severn Bore-inspired fountain, which will also ensure the sculpture is not a trip hazard.
