OODBRIDGE, NJ — Commercial real estate services frm Simson and Weiss of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represents tenant Cushman & Wakefield handles 87,000 s/f office lease with EisnerAmper W
consolidate most of its people from multiple New Jersey offices at MetroTop Plaza II, taking all of the 10-story building’s sixth and seventh foors, and portions of the frst and eighth foors for a term of more than 15 years. The frm was represented in the transaction by David Simson and Mark Weiss of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s New Jersey and New York offces respectively. With the transaction, the Cushman & Wakefeld team has signed leases totaling 177,000 s/f at MetroTop Plaza II since the building was com- pleted and readied for tenant fit-out at the end of 2011. Since then, Ansell Healthcare has leased 57,000 s/f, and soft- ware provider Vitech Systems Group and McDonald’s Corp. have leased 19,000 and 20,000 s/f respectively, the latter for a regional headquarters. Eis- nerAmper andAnsell Health- care will each have corporate signage on the building. “The region’s offce market has improved significantly, but a combination of eco- nomic reasons continues to drive activity,” Giannone said. “Many companies are either consolidating or relocating for cost-related reasons, includ- ing a more central location at a transportation hub for the beneft of employees.” n construction for consolidation or expansion and hope that these businesses will put their capital to use in 2013.
