that its Center City leasing team has signed seven new retail leases in Philadelphia. According to Fameco chief executive officer and partner, Brandon Famous, leasing has been moving at a brisk pace in the past few months. “Our team has been involved in a number of deals; both on the retailer representation and landlord sides. We are picking up a number of high profile leasing assignments and are really blanketing the market,” added Famous. OnWalnut Street, Fameco’s Gary Leone and Rick Schuch represented Chipotle in leas- ing 2,300 s/f at 1200 Walnut Street. At 1421 Walnut Street Paige Barrow represented Pearl Properties in leasing 1,800 s/f to Swarovski. At 2015 Walnut Street, Urban Igloo signed its first lease in the Philadelphia market. Fameco’s Jackie Balin repre- sented the retailer. Four additional food pur- veyors have signed leases including Ho Choi Grocer‘s 1,200 s/f lease at 1601 South 8th Street. Barrow represent- ed the owner, Kean Realty, Insomnia Cookies recently opened at 108 South 16th Street. Fameco’s Matt Man- del represented the retailer and Barrow represented the owner, Pearl Properties and at 339 South 13th Street, Sweet Box will be opening its first retail store. Sweet Box is expanding from its cupcake truck at Love Park. Barrow represented Sweet Box as well as the owner, Pearl Proper- ties. At 35 South 18th Street, Fameco’s Barrow represented the landlord, Alert Realty, in a 1,300 s/f lease to Euro- pean Wax Center. This is the retailer’s first Philadelphia location. WAYNE, NJ — Fameco Real Estate, L.P. has leased retail space at Plaza Square inWayne, bringing the Center to full occupancy. The 104,000 s/f Center lo- cated along Hamburg Turn- pike is one of the major retail corridors in Passaic County. Owned by Regency Centers, Plaza Square is anchored by ShopRite with Bank of America, Dollar Power, Bensi Italian Restaurant and Wen- dy’s. Recent lease signings include Great Clips, Hand
