GOOD PEOPLE BREAKING DOWN THE DOOR FOR AN APPOINTMENT! Two days prior to Christmas, I was in a treatment room and I heard a crash and felt the floor vibrate. I said to the patient “well that’s not good”. I thought a car had crashed into the bottom of our building on the Academy Blvd side. I figured if it was a problem for us, someone would let me know, and I secretly hoped that was the case. Val knocked on the treatment room door just as I finished that thought and said “Tim, we have an emergency”. I paused and she said “it’s a big emergency” so my secret hope was dashed. The result was what you see below. A mistake of the gas pedal for the brake. We are happy to report no one was injured and the temporary door will be replaced soon. While we realize getting an appointment can sometimes be frustrating, remember to call first and “not take matters into your own hands”...just kidding!

SIDELYING TRUNK ROTATION While lying on your side with your arms out-stretched in front of your body, slowly twist your upper body to the side and rotate your spine. Your arms and head should also be rotating along with the spine as shown. Follow your hand with your eyes. Hold for 20 seconds repeat 3 times on each side.

INGREDIENTS: • 5-6 cups cauliflower florets • 3 tbsp vegetable oil • 1/3 cup corn starch • 3-4 cups steamed rice, for serving • thinly sliced green onions for garnish • 3/4 cup sugar

• 2 tbsp soy sauce • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (may sub white vinegar)

• 1 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp onion salt • 1/4 cup ketchup • 1 tbsp cornstarch • 2 tbsp cold water

DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 425 degrees and grease a baking sheet. Combine cauliflower and oil in a large ziplock bag. Seal and shake to coat cauliflower in the oil. Open the bag, add corn starch, seal bag, and toss to coat again. Transfer coated cauliflower to a greased pan. Bake for 15-20 min until cauliflower starts to brown on thebottoms.Switchoven tobroilandcookonhigh for3-4minutes justuntil topsstart tobrown.Whilecauliflower iscooking,prepare thesaucebyaddingsugar,vinegar,soy sauce,garlicpowder,onionsalt,andketchup inamediumsaucepan.Stirandbring to a boil. Whisk together the corn starch and cold water in a small bowl until dissolved. Add to sauce pan and stir until thickened, then reduce to low heat.
