SPRING BREAK CAMPS

Spring Music Camp The camp is a perfect opportunity for your child to explore music this spring break. Camp is catered to all musical backgrounds, especially absolute beginners, along with a special opportunity for a final performance for parents and friends at the end of the week. COMMUNITY GARDEN

Growing Gardeners Participate in garden-based science experiments, art projects, and engineering activities. Games and stories that reinforce garden concepts will also be covered. CREATIVE ARTS

Comic Book Making Take time to express your creativity by creating your own comic book! Participants will learn the fundamentals of drawing comic art, write their own scripts, and design their own unique comic book. Materials are included. Instructor: Tess Powell Ages: 8–11 Location: CRC Res/Non-res 26845 Tu 4–6 p.m. 3/28–5/2 $145/$181 Drawing, Beginning & Intermediate Participants will experience the joy of drawing as they develop new skills while learning to draw cartoons and animated figures. The goal of the instructor is for participants to build confidence, creativity, imagination, and to have fun doing it. There is an outline and direction for class, but participants will have opportunities to work on their personal, individual projects.
