DON’T LEAVE YOUR RETIREMENT TO LUCK
Guiding You Through Your Cherished Golden Years
May the luck of the Irish be with you! Believe it or not, I’m 40% Irish and proud of my heritage. Luck plays a beautiful and instrumental role in many things in life — we often leave a lot up to chance, and then it turns out better than we could have ever imagined. Sometimes, the pot of gold at the rainbow’s end is within reach without lifting a finger. However, when it comes to retirement, you don’t want to leave anything to luck! The most rewarding part of my chosen profession is meeting with those who seek advice to ensure the most seamless transition into a fruitful journey through retirement. It’s my job to stay educated and up to date on the ever-changing rules surrounding retirement. Tax laws, market strategies, investment risks, and current events are constantly changing and influencing decision- making and retirement planning. Knowing that I can take this information and help each member of the Wolf Retirement family to better navigate retirement fuels my passion. A few things are the same across all those nearing, entering, or already within retirement: They want to see their nest egg grow, they want to protect that nest egg, and they’d like to continue saving while enjoying the years they’ve dreamed of throughout their working career. We are here not only to assist with all the financial aspects that go into planning for your retirement but also the emotional and lifestyle rides. Clients come to me with questions about their readiness to retire, whether or not they can retire before their spouse, or if retiring any time sooner rather than later is in the books for them. Others may be getting married for the first time or getting remarried. Someone else may be stepping up to the plate as a caregiver for a parent, spouse, sibling, or child or dealing with the loss of a loved one. Whether it be financial advice or emotional support, advice, and love, we are here.
In any case, whatever the circumstances, please know that I never want anyone to be alone, and I’m happy to wear any hat. Life is forever fluid, and once you enter retirement, I’m here to help reduce the uncertainties of a hectic world. I take pride in being able to simplify retirement for you so you can enjoy your retirement with reduced worry. Here, at Wolf Retirement Navigation, we organize and strategically design a plan with retirement accounts being placed into respective taxable, tax-deferred, and tax-free “buckets” to streamline your retirement process in easy-to-understand concepts. We are a one-stop shop to coordinate your finances before and in retirement. With an objective eye, we are here to guide you through the decisions, changes, and potential roller coaster rides within retirement. You are taken under our wing on the first day we meet — you can breathe easy and relax now!

Create Your Own With Just 3 Ingredients INSTEAD OF PURCHASING FOAMING SOAPS
We’ve all seen the foaming hand and dish soaps at our local supermarkets — some of you may have one by your sink or in a cabinet. But when you run out of soap, what do you do? Do you throw out the bottle and purchase a new one? Or do you buy a new bottle and attach it to the dispenser? Buying soap replacements all the time is costly, but you can save money and soap by creating your own foaming dish and hand soap! You only need three things: a foaming dispenser, liquid soap, and water. Is making your own foaming soap that easy? Yes! The entire process may take you only five minutes to complete. The most important item you need is a foam dispenser. You can reuse a foaming soap container or purchase one online. After rinsing your bottle, add one part liquid soap and three parts water. Avoid shaking the bottle after screwing the cap back on. The suds and bubbles in the container will affect the dispenser and produce less foam when you pump the device. And that’s it! You just created foaming hand or dish soap in seconds. You don’t need to add lots of liquid soap to your concoction. If you
look at foaming soaps in the supermarket, you will notice they are mostly water. So, less is more in this instance. Once you begin making these, you’ll notice you use less soap, making the product last longer and keeping more money in your pocket. Not only does this foaming method work for hand and dish soaps, but you can also make your shampoo, body wash, and other cleansers foam — it’s all about the dispenser. If you decide to convert other products, avoid creamy soaps because they have moisturizers that can clog the foaming dispenser. Once you start making your own foaming soap, you will never go back to purchasing it. This DIY method is easy, quick, and inexpensive. Happy cleaning!
The Many Benefits of Being Happy ON CLOUD NINE
It is often and simply stated that happiness is the greatest form of success. On March 20th, we celebrate International Day of Happiness, a time we focus on the impact that being happy — truly, blissfully happy — has on our lives. There isn’t one person out there who wouldn’t like to feel happier, personally and professionally. Happiness greatly impacts our health, mentally and physically. Let’s take a look. Happiness fosters a healthier heart. When we lead blissful lives, we reduce our risk of heart complications. Cheerfulness and satisfaction help to keep our blood pressure and heart rate low, reducing the possibility of cardiovascular-related complications. Happiness manages stress. When we are happy, we tend to have lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels. In turn, we can better deflect feelings and
emotions that may lead to stress and anxiety. Even when stress is inevitable, a healthy lifestyle leads us to better manage those trying times.
This month, and every month, take some time to focus on what you can do for yourself and your life to let more happiness in. What toxic thoughts and feelings can you let go of? Once you let the happiness in, you’ll never look back!
Happy people may live longer. Studies have actually proven that
happiness contributes to a longer lifespan! While being happy doesn’t automatically grant you a ticket to a long life, it contributes to keeping your mind and body healthy enough to endure and persevere through life’s curveballs. Happiness leads to success. Upbeat people can easily create situations that best set them up for success. Happy individuals search for the good in other people, situations, and obstacles that come their way. With a ”glass half full” mentality, they are better able to dust themselves off, continue after they’ve fallen, and chase their dreams.

WITH GRATITUDE FOR YOUR ATTITUDE
I Extend a Heartfelt ‘Thank You’
It’s often said that excellence goes beyond just being a skill and that it is, in fact, an attitude. Here, at Wolf Retirement Navigation, I take great pride in the amazing attitudes, thoughtfulness, and devotion of our team members. Even though Employee Appreciation Day on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 has passed, every day is Employee Appreciation Day here. I cannot say enough about how lucky I am to be surrounded by such wonderful individuals who share in the same passion I do — caring for our clients. In January, we celebrated Robin’s nine-year anniversary. Just last month, we celebrated Andrea’s six-year work anniversary, and in November, we will also be celebrating six years for Eileen — time really flies when you’re having fun with those you admire! I know our longtime clients can agree with me when I say that these three women are the “rocks” that keep Wolf Retirement grounded. It always makes me so happy to see our clients forming strong bonds with Robin, Andrea, and Eileen, and catching up at client appreciation events, our workshops, and whenever they visit or call the office.
Robin, Andrea, and Eileen, along with all of our valued clients, I’d like to thank you for all you do. You are the faces and voices of Wolf Retirement Navigation, and you truly make a difference in each and every client’s life. You help make my job possible and create the best work environment I could ever ask for. Thank you for being you! Happy Employee Appreciation Day every single day!

Chicago, IL Nobody does St. Patrick’s Day quite like Chicago, Illinois. The entire city gets a makeover! This year, on March 11, Chicago will host its St. Patrick’s Day parade, which includes dyeing the Chicago River a beautiful shade of emerald green. They’ll start tinting the river around 9 a.m., and the color will fade within six hours, so make sure you get there early! Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is also one of the biggest in the country. You’ll see floats, Irish step dancers, and much more.
As we inch closer to the beginning of spring, nature around us is coming back to life. Soon, the grass and trees will return to their typical green hue if they haven’t already.
