Wolf Retirement Navigation LLC - March 2023

WITH GRATITUDE FOR YOUR ATTITUDE

I Extend a Heartfelt ‘Thank You’

It’s often said that excellence goes beyond just being a skill and that it is, in fact, an attitude. Here, at Wolf Retirement Navigation, I take great pride in the amazing attitudes, thoughtfulness, and devotion of our team members. Even though Employee Appreciation Day on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 has passed, every day is Employee Appreciation Day here. I cannot say enough about how lucky I am to be surrounded by such wonderful individuals who share in the same passion I do — caring for our clients. In January, we celebrated Robin’s nine-year anniversary. Just last month, we celebrated Andrea’s six-year work anniversary, and in November, we will also be celebrating six years for Eileen — time really flies when you’re having fun with those you admire! I know our longtime clients can agree with me when I say that these three women are the “rocks” that keep Wolf Retirement grounded. It always makes me so happy to see our clients forming strong bonds with Robin, Andrea, and Eileen, and catching up at client appreciation events, our workshops, and whenever they visit or call the office.

Robin, Andrea, and Eileen, along with all of our valued clients, I’d like to thank you for all you do. You are the faces and voices of Wolf Retirement Navigation, and you truly make a difference in each and every client’s life. You help make my job possible and create the best work environment I could ever ask for. Thank you for being you! Happy Employee Appreciation Day every single day!

CLASSIC CABBAGE ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

• 1 medium head cabbage • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion, divided • 1 tbsp butter • 2 14.5-oz cans Italian stewed tomatoes • 4 garlic cloves, minced • 2 tbsp brown sugar • 1 1/2 tsp salt, divided • 1 cup cooked rice • 1/4 cup ketchup • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce • 1/4 tsp pepper • 1 lb lean (90%) ground beef • 1/4 lb Italian sausage

1. In a Dutch oven, cook cabbage in boiling water for 10 minutes; drain. Rinse in cold water; drain. Remove 8 large outer leaves; set aside. 2. In a large saucepan, sauté 1 cup onion in butter. Add tomatoes, garlic, brown sugar, and 1/2 tsp salt. Simmer sauce for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. In a large bowl, combine rice, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and remaining onion and salt. Crumble beef and sausage over mixture and mix. 4. Remove thick vein from cabbage leaves for easier rolling. Place 1/2 cup meat mixture on each leaf; fold in sides. Starting at an unfolded edge, roll leaf to completely enclose filling. Place rolls seam side down in a skillet. Top with sauce. 5. Cover and cook over medium-low heat

for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low; cook 20 minutes longer or until a thermometer inserted reads 160 F.
