At Home – These first few questions are about things you might need, use, or think about while you are at home going about your life.

Internet Use and Barriers to Technology Use

The majority (83.9%) of survey respondents multiple times per week, if not daily (76.5%); whereas 12.5% use the internet less than monthly to not at all. When examining this patten by age category, frequent use decreases with age, which is not unexpected. Whereas respondents in their 50s (97.7%) and 60s (90.5%) use the internet regularly, these percentages trail off as follows: 84.3% (70s), 71.2% (80s), and 52.2% (90+). Reasons for not engaging in digital platforms are ranked by age category in the following table:
