Naperville Premier Soccer League NPSL is designed for 1st-8th grade teams seeking an enhanced focus on player development. Teams are divided as follows:
1ST GRADE UNIVERSITY • Grade-based, recreational program • Teams register based on 2025/2026 grade level 2ND-8TH GRADE • Grade-based, competitive program • Teams register based on 2025/2026 grade level

Naperville Premier Soccer League University • GRADE 1 The NPSL University program is a great opportunity for 1st grade teams to receive specialized training while still cultivating a recreational experience. RESIDENT / NONRESIDENT TEAM FEES: $1,640

NPSL UNIVERSITY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Participants are required to purchase a reversible NYS game-day jersey. NYS jerseys can be purchased at the Fort Hill Activity Center for $18. Soccer cleats or gym shoes, shin guards, water bottle and an age- appropriate soccer ball is also required. REGISTRATION AND WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE: The last day to register or withdraw and receive a refund minus the $200 deposit is June 16. ROSTER ELIGIBILITY: All players must be in 1st grade. Players who are in an older or younger grade may not participate on the team even if their age fits within the parameters set in the system for registration purposes.
WEEKLY PRACTICES: Teams have one 60-minute training session per week with a trainer. Practice location and time is set by the training company based on team preferences and trainer availability. WEEKLY GAMES: Teams participate in NYS Saturday games led by their volunteer coaches (7 games; no scores or standings are recorded). A coach or parent volunteer acts as game referee. Games are played at various times and locations. Games will not be rescheduled due to team conflicts. Games canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled by the Park District and communicated accordingly.
REGISTRATION IS BY TEAM ONLY : Head coaches complete their team’s registration online. A $200, non-refundable deposit (or full payment) is due at the time of registration. Nonresidents are charged an additional $20 per player (collected during the roster development process). Rostered players reimburse coaches accordingly. Individuals interested in NPSL University, but without a team, may add themselves to the Interest List (placement is not guaranteed).
