A collection of stor­ ies' of Chinese life and missionary ef­ fort, for the most part in connection with the work in a Christian hospital; Interesting, true and helpful inci­ dents, all centered about the blessed “ Jesu” doctrine, by one who herself lived with and loved these Chinese people. (Revell) $1.25. The Sons of Jacob and Their Tribal Blessing, by Rev. Thomas Tully, M. A. A volume of sermons on the charac­ ters of the twelve sons of Jacob. In­ teresting, inspirational, different; il-1 lustrative of the grace of God in transforming poor, frail, failing men. There are byways of Biblical study which lead to very rich pastures and the author has found his way down one of these, and tells us in “ The Sons of Jacob” what he has found. (Doran) $1.75.
