Docility is a cornerstone of what we do. From selective breeding to hands-on, low-stress handling, we make it a priority to raise calm, manageable cattle. We believe time spent with our herd makes all the difference in the quality of our livestock and the experience of working with them. Raising cattle has been our family’s way of life since 1907. For generations, we’ve focused on backgrounding our calves and retaining our top home-raised replacement heifers. For the past 45 years, we’ve taken every calf to finish, consistently achieving standout results— 90% Certified Angus Beef® and 70% Prime. With the continued growth of our bull program, we’re proud to offer a buyback program and assist our customers in marketing their calves. Over the past few years alone, we’ve purchased nearly 400 steers and heifers annually.We believe in our genetics and are committed to standing behind the cattle we raise and sell. Most importantly, I want to thank all of you for your interest, trust, and support. A special thank you goes out to our incredible crew—those who handle everything from feed production to daily cattle care. We couldn’t do it without you. DELIVERY Free delivery within the state of SD or within 300 miles of Wall. Bulls will be delivered after May 1st. HEALTH All bulls will be accompanied by proper health certifications for shipment and have had complete vaccination program. All bulls have been fertility examined by Badlands Vet Services - Dr. James McConaghy - Wall, SD GUARANTEE Bulls are unconditionally guaranteed through the first breeding season. In the event of a problem, please contact Tate immediately for vet assistance or by September 2025. Buyer will have the option to choose replacement, if available or take sale credit minus salvage value. GENOMIC EPDs Certified Angus Beef: All registered Angus Bulls have been Genomic tested and parent verified using Angus GS.
