BEEF 2018 AHI attended the Beef 2018 Teagasc Open Day in Grange Research Centre. The focus of our presence at the event was on Johne’s disease and beef suckler herds. A paper written by Lorna Citer (Johne’s disease ProgrammeManager) on the topic was submitted prior to the event for inclusion in the Open Day Handbook. Interest in the topic was encouraging as farmers were anxious to find out more information about the disease, including the signs, testing options, herd impact plus disease control.
