completion of a new concrete enclosure of the front of the church. These renovations reduced the church’s monthly electrical usage by 20%. In 2020, Pastor Jackson developed an emergency response plan to respond to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on in-person worship. St. Paul, already equipped with advanced technology, seamlessly transitioned to online worship services. Even in difficult times, St. Paul’s personal connection to its members remained strong. Pastor Jackson and the ministerial staff safely distributed care packages through drive-by visits, providing to the emotional and spiritual needs of sick members of the church. Church growth continued and in June 2021, members returned to in-person worship with appropriate safety measures put in place. In December 2024, after being notified by Grove Bank and Trust that the bank was not renewing any mortgages under $250,000, Pastor Jackson led St. Paul on a faith walk to pay off the mortgage. In just 10 weeks, the members of St. Paul walked in faith and trusted the vision that God had given! In February 2025, St. Paul paid $129,000, beyond tithes and offerings, liquidating the church’s mortgage five years early and the investment property’s mortgage ten years early while also revitalizing the St. Paul church campus. The heritage of St. Paul is rich. A legacy of greatness is ours to enjoy! God has set before us an open door and showered us with strong leadership. From 1914 to 2025, we have had the services of twenty-one (21) pastors. We have rendered one hundred ten (110) years of devoted, dedicated and committed service to humanity and to the building of God’s Kingdom. The best is yet to come!.
