The partial closure of BST ProControl is a part of this strategy.The same applies to the acquisition of the majority stake in Ny- quist Systems GmbH, Landsberg am Lech, Germany, which was concluded by elexis AG in early 2019. The TubeScan family of Nyquist Systems reported- ly complement BST eltromat’s product range in the areas of 100 percent inspection and web monitoring in the narrow web market. Both the partial closure of BST ProControl and the majority stake in Nyquist Sys- tems represent a strengthening of the company’s core competencies, according to the manufacturer. BST eltromat founded BST ProControl GmbH as a 100 percent subsidiary through the acquisition of the companies betacontrol and Protagon in 2013.
