NA Flexo Printing Inks Market To Reach $3 Billion By 2024 The North American flexographic ink market is es- timated to exceed $3 billion by 2024, according to a new report from Graphical Research. Increasing demand for flexographic printing inks in cosmetic packaging has been driving the market. Rising usage of cosmetic products among the self-con- scious population is propelling the packaging industry.
For instance, U.S. cosmetic export in 2015 was more than $2 billion in Asia Pacific countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Vietnam,Thailand and the Philippines. U.S. cosmetic exports to China in 2015 was more than $500 million; further export had increased as much as 62 percent in recent years among high po- tential markets such as Indonesia, China and Vietnam. Eaglewood Purchases Mid States Flexo Eaglewood Technologies has completed the pur- chase of Mid States Flexo Cleaning, a decades-long anilox cleaning service provider. Mid States Flexo has focused on cleaning anilox rolls in corrugated and packaging facilities since 1999, using sustainable tech- nology created by Eaglewood Technologies. The purchase of Mid States Flexo will reportedly complement the growing cleaning service portion of Eaglewood Technologies. Mid States’ geographic reach not only focused on the Midwest but also serviced con- verters as far south as Texas, Georgia and Mississippi.
