THE BUTTERFLIES OF ECUADOR When: June 14–16; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Where: Krohn Conservatory at Eden Park Admission: $10 Adults, $7 Youth (5–17), Children (4 and under) are free. Spend a day with Dad in one of the most colorful and beautiful places in all of Ohio, the Krohn Conservatory. Here, he can see 12,000 butterflies in free flight. He can also explore the captivating plant species

If your dad is a music and/or history buff, then he might love spending some time at Cincinnati’s 32nd annual Juneteenth Festival, an event which celebrates the end of American slavery. The festival starts with a parade of flags representing the origins and forced destinations of slaves during the 300-year slave trade. Afterward, event-goers can enjoy listening and dancing to two stages of music featuring blues, jazz, R&B, and Latin jazz bands, as well as drum lines and a praise dance showcase, organized activities, and free books for children. There will also be an array of delicious food available for purchase!
