Workshop Objectives
The overall objectives of this workshop are:
• To introduce or review the conventions of scientific writing;
• To illustrate principles of good scientific writing using examples from the published literature;
• To give participants opportunities to practice writing the parts of a scientific manuscript;
• To introduce or review the conventions of scientific publishing in English-language journals and to help participants avoid potential pitfalls.
