Use past tense.
• Do not duplicate data (in text, tables, and figures).
• If data are presented in tables and figures, summarize most important findings in text.
•
Do not repeat methods.
• Limit speculation about meaning of results.
• Highlight important findings (with summary/introductory sentence, header).
