At the same time, today’s consumers are more critical than back in 1999. And rightfully so. We are increasingly aware that we need to take action to protect the environment. This respon- sibility is one we take seriously as a company. In recent years, for example, we have discontinued producing fixtures with a fluorescent lighting source. We have also reduced the amount of plastic in our packaging. And all LEDs in our fixtures now have a more sustainable footprint and we are ready to switch to new and more efficient transformers, the ultimate model being our SMART HUB-150.
With the SMART HUB-150 (available from fall 2019), we are not only introducing a major tech- nological advancement, but also a transformer that makes outdoor spaces more sustainable in several ways. This transformer is equipped with three separate lines (controlled using an app for iOS and Android phones), offering homeowners a user-friendly way to operate their lighting and determine which zone should be illuminated when. At in-lite, we have a very clear idea about the future and the steps we would like to take. After all, we have learned a great deal over the past 20 years and apply this knowledge daily in developing new products. We will continue to innovate, inspire and support customers when purchasing lighting for their outdoor spaces.
