Eric Bouvier mostly grew up in Timmins, Ontario, along with his two brothers, Dan and Marc. He later left his hometown and moved to Ottawa, Ontario, where he graduated from Algonquin College, got married, and help raise his 2 children, Jessica and Zachary, who are now 26 and 24 years old. Eric lived in Rockland for over 10 years and involved himself within the community, the YMCA, and TVC22. He particularly enjoyed spending time at the Rockland Marina. Eric passed away on May 19, 2022, in Ottawa with his kids by his bedside. Eric was an amazing person, with many talents and gifts. People were instantly enlightened by his positivity, intellect, strength, and sense of humor. Eric was extremely resilient in managing his health with Ankylosing Spondylitis throughout his entire life. He continued to persevere and astonish all of us even with the addition of battling pancreatic cancer. In his free time, he loved to play guitar-sing, live in the present moment, and craft a variety of wellness products which he shared with everyone - those he knew and those he just met. He really cared about spreading positivity, helping people, and being a source of support with all his knowledge. He came up with what he called his invention of “the positive reflection box” and from there was inspired to make rain sticks, rings from cutlery, inspirational panels, clocks with music charts, etc. He was known as a very creative and memorable person who always shared what was on his versatile mind whether you wanted to hear it or not. He always made the effort to nurture his connections with family, and friends. He was so entertaining. His company was always interesting, informative, playful, and loving. When able to, he was up for anything. He shared his gratitude for learning about the philosophy of author Eckhart Tolle, in reaching an understanding of the human experience that felt powerful and truthful to him. He shared how lucky and blessed he felt for having such a supportive circle and loving family. His spirit is still among us and his love for life will always live within us. He mentioned he would visit all of us as the yellow butterfly. This incredible person will forever be remembered as a “one of a kind soul”. He will be missed. We love you Dad!!

SÉGUIN, ROLLANDE
La famille Séguin a le regret de vous faire part du décès de Rollande Séguin (née Desjardins) , originaire de Clarence Creek, résidente de Hull, décédée paisiblement le 20 mai 2022 , à l’âge de 94 ans. Elle était l’épouse de feu Aldomas Séguin; la fille de feu Arsidas Desjardins et feu Régina David. Elle laisse ses quatre filles : Louise (Michel Guénette), Suzanne (Jean Lemay), Danielle (Denis Brunet) et Carole (Lyle Christensen); huit petits-enfants et huit arrière-petits-enfants ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s. Elle était la sœur d’Annette, Madeleine, Jacques, Robert et André. Elle fut prédécédée par ses sœurs : Antoinette, Aline , Pierrette et par ses frères : Marcel et Roland. La famille désire remercier le personnel de La Maison Mathieu - Froment-Savoie, pour les bons soins prodigués. Pour ceux qui le désirent, des dons à la Fondation Mathieu - Froment-Savoie seraient appréciés. Les funérailles auront lieu en privé.
