MOM'S BOOK

I had my mother to take of so, sadly I declined his offer. It broke my heart, but I knew it was the best thing for me. It was years of heartbreak that eventually subsided.

RALPH GOLDBERG (70’s)

Ralph was so lovely, first class, which I liked, however, he was smothering me to death. Oh my. He owned a shopping center right off Bay View drive. He was married to a JAP (Jewish American Princess) and very unhappy. Nevertheless, the relationship did not last.

AND THEN THERE WAS THE CANAL GUY (70’s)

I met guy at a beautiful fancy first class night club. Everybody uses to go there. This guy was successful and asked me out to dinner. I told him I’d love to but I had to get up early the next morning, so I had to be home early. On the way home, going down A1A, he passes my building. “What are you doing? I live right here.” He said he wanted to take me to his house. He would not listen to me. He continued down Oakland Park Blvd, where there was a little community on the canal. I protested all the way and was getting mad. He pulls into the driveway. Now I am getting scared. He wanted me to go into the house. When he got out of the car I locked the car doors. When he went into the house, I jumped out and ran 2 blocks like a roadrunner up to Federal Highway to a phone booth and called a cab. My heart was racing like crazy! I saw him driving up the road while I was getting into the cab and never saw him again. I was terrified and thought he would rape me, or something. It was just awful! What a rat! How dare he! I am a tough cookie! That was awful. The rest of the story..... turned out he was the Canal Murderer. Several female real estate agents were found murdered in the canal!

RUBEN (80’s)

Let me tell you the story about Ruben. He was a contra fighter in South America. Like guerillas or something… and a deep sea diver. He fought against dark trade. He worked in a TV repair shop where I met him because I needed my TV fixed. We hit it off. Haha. It was nothing serious, just a friend thing. He called and asked me if I wanted to go on a boat ride? I said sure!
