health issues—they began exploring a more holistic approach. “There’s got to be something,” she remembers think- ing. That mindset ultimately shaped the foundation of their practice. Untamed Health was built as a response to gaps they experienced firsthand in traditional medicine. “Healthcare in the US has become more of a business,” Mat- thew says. Instead, their model focuses on time, education, and partnership. “What people need is to be educated,” he explains, emphasizing conversations that empower patients to take an active role in their health. Through advanced testing, personalized treatment plans, and services ranging from IV therapy to peptide treatments,

they focus on root causes rather than quick fixes. “We’re not here to make 10 patients in an hour,” Jesse says. “We’re not going to kick you out.” That inten- tional approach often leads to emotional moments with patients who finally feel understood. For both, the greatest reward is seeing lives transformed. “I had no idea this was even possible,” is a phrase they hear often, and one that fuels their work in the Baton Rouge community. “We’re truly building relationships and seeing peo- ple’s lives change,” Matthew says.
