ACRYLIC: Rigid, crystal clear plastic ANODISED: A stylish, matte style finish to Aluminium products APERTURES: Holes cut into material BLACK PLATED: Creates a matte black finish to metal products
BRASS PLATED: Creates a smooth, shiny finish to metal products - a cost-effective alternative to solid Brass BRUSHED: Or dull polished metal is a metal with a unidirectional satin finish. Common brushed metals include Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Nickel CDU: Countertop Display Unit CRIMPED END: A pinched end, creating a tighter grip CTO: Cut to order FSDU: Free Standing Display Unit, often made of corrugated cardboard GLASS REINFORCE: Adding fine fibres of glass into plastic to create a polymer that is stronger and more flexible than the original state HEAVY DUTY: Can hold/support thicker or heavier material INJECTION MOULDED: Plastic is liquefied and forced into a mould

NEODYMIUM: A soft, silvery metal that is used to create a strong, powerful magnet NICKEL PLATED: Creates a smooth, shiny finish to metal products - a cost-effective alternative to solid Nickel PET: Polyethylene Terephthalate - a crystal clear plastic that is easily recycled POLISHED: Creates a shiny metal finish POLYCARBONATE: High impact-resistant plastic, with better light transmission than many types of glass PP: Polypropylene - a type of plastic formed using injection moulding or extrusion processes, commonly known as Polyprop POM: Polyoxmethylene - a thermoplastic often used in the creation of food safe items POWDER COATING: A protective finish which is ’baked’ on to the material in a specific Colour PVC: A very flexible plastic which should not break or shatter but has little rigidity SEL: Shelf Edge Label STYRENE: A plastic product which has more rigidity than PVC but is more brittle than Acrylic T GRID: Suspension grid for ceilings. A typical dropped ceiling consists of grid-work in the shape of an upside-down T ZINC PLATED: Gives coated metal a bright uniform Colour, making it more aesthetically appealing (unsuitable for outdoor applications)
