IT’S TIME TO PLAN YOUR CARNIVAL The Melbourne Cup Carnival you know and love is back, promising huge excitement and energy brought by the returning crowds and world class thoroughbred racing. With four days of racing and entertainment to experience, this is your chance to celebrate traditions old and new as you witness racing legends being made, live and in-person. It’s your Carnival, and you will find a wide range of dining packages available for booking at your favourite Flemington venues. If you want to keep things flexible, there are just as many options that require no booking at all, including boutique retail food outlets and casual bars. For the first time ever, we have even created a retail and entertainment offering with casual seating for members and their guests in The Birdcage, or buy a reserved grandstand-style seat in the Members Enclosure and guarantee a spot to watch all the racing action, all day long. The perfect Carnival experience is totally up to you. Right across Flemington entertainment and experiences abound, making the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival one for the ages. MEMBERS ENCLOSURE ACCESS AT A GLANCE This table lists all locations and venues that are available in the Members Enclosures during the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival. Many locations require no booking at all, while others, like dining and reserved seating, need additional paid bookings. Keep a lookout for the No Booking Required symbol and the Tickets buttons throughout this Guide. Members Enclosure Daily Guest Tickets. The Melbourne Cup Carnival is more fun with friends and family. Members can purchase Daily Guest Tickets that will allow guest access to all of the Members Enclosures (except Members Bar) and this year, access into The Birdcage and The Rails Promenade. Pedestrian Passes into The Domain and The Nursery Car Parks. These passes are available for purchase and allow entry to your reserved Car Park Site, and throughout general admission areas of Flemington. Pedestrian Passes into The Rails Promenade. MEMBER TICKETING FOR THE 2022 MELBOURNE CUP CARNIVAL

In 2022 entry into the Melbourne Cup Carnival and the Members Enclosures is easy, all you need to do is scan your 2022/23 membership card. There are many Cup Week experiences that do not require pre-booking by members.

If you wish to purchase Dining, Reserved Seating, Car Park Sites, and Daily Guest Tickets below is the key information you need to know.

• Members Dining, Reserved Seating, Car Park Sites and Daily Guest Tickets are required to be purchased for the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival via Ticketmaster. • For each of these products, there will be a scheduled on-sale date and time as listed on page 10 of this guide. • All members must be financial for the 2022/23 racing season to access Melbourne Cup Carnival tickets. If you are yet to renew for the 2022/23 season, visit vrc.com.au to renew on-line. For Dining, Reserved Seating, Car Park Sites or Daily Guest Tickets, the following is required at time of purchase; • A MyTicketmaster account, create one at ticketmaster.com.au if you don’t already have one, otherwise login and ensure your details are up to date including your credit card • A valid credit or debit card • Your 2022/23 membership barcode number (available from the end of August on your new 2022/23 membership card) • If securing tickets for Dining or Reserved Seating as a group, nominate one member to book on behalf of the group and please have ready the barcode numbers of any membership or annual guest cards you intend to use Your new 2022/23 membership barcode will be supplied at the end of August in plenty of time for the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival on-sale. MEMBERS UNRESERVED SEATING Unreserved seating is readily available across the Flemington grounds for members. Great options include prime-position members seating in The Grandstand, with outdoor viewing available at The Atrium and The Forum on Level 2, and indoor viewing from Level 4 in The View.

The Club Stand also offers great unreserved seating on its many decks.

Wherever you choose to sit, rest assured all the facilities you expect are within arm’s reach: coffee, tea, casual food outlets, refreshing drinks from friendly bars, and more than enough betting facilities to enhance every race day.

MEMBERS RESERVED SEATING Reserve a grandstand style seat for any Carnival race day and enjoy an uninterrupted view of all the days racing. All the options provide great value for an entire day’s seating. Life members have complimentary access to reserved seating allocated on Level 2 in The Atrium or Level 4 in The View. Members 60 years of age or over, will be given a priority period to purchase reserved seating via Ticketmaster from 2pm Monday 5 September. Get ready to see a side of Flemington that few get to experience.

The much-loved Members Enclosure Car Parks, including The Birdcage, have hosted thousands of avid racegoers and joyous celebrations over the years, and things are set to get even better in 2022. For the first time ever, members can invite guests to enjoy full access into The Birdcage with a Daily Guest Ticket, as well as all other Members Enclosure Car Parks, including The Rails Promenade, The Nursery and The Domain, with a Pedestrian Pass. Members and guests can now spend an entire day strolling around The Birdcage , relaxing in the beautiful Italian-inspired design while celebrity-spotting to their hearts’ content. There is now generous and comfortable unreserved seating all around, the return of The Bird Bath Bar, several new retail food and beverage outlets, trackside race viewing and even a Croquet Lawn. The Rails Promenade has also been transformed. Every site within now comes fully furnished, so members no longer have to go to the effort of ‘building’ their race day picnic site - just BYO your own food and drinks and simply enjoy the day! Fully furnished sites have been introduced as an additional patron and racing safety measure.

The Domain and The Nursery also return to host your own party in a Car Park.

However you choose to celebrate, 2022 is the year to experience the Members Enclosure Car Parks for yourself - and your guests!

THE BIRDCAGE

Step from the everyday into the refined and magical experience of the world famous Birdcage — simply scan your members card and you're in. The awe-inspiring centrepiece in 2022 is The Piazza - a light-infused grand pavilion framed by a cooling Italianate styled garden setting. In every direction a labyrinth of arches and paths lead to all-new chance encounters and moments to savour. Members direct access into The Birdcage offers the chance to just wander through and soak up the atmosphere or find your place in one of the many unreserved garden settings and while away the day. There's plenty of retail bars and food outlets to keep you going until the last race is run. For lovers of racing there's no shortage of racing action, trackside views, super screens and betting facilities, all just a few steps away. And if that's not enough, in 2022, members can share the experience with friends and family by simply purchasing a Daily Guest Ticket.

Everything’s here for your perfect day. Crowd-favourite The Bird Bath Bar returns with access to all-new boutique food and beverage outlets, along with ample unreserved seating and live entertainment. As you wander and soak up the atmosphere, try your luck on the Croquet Lawn or top up your glass as you Rosé All Day. Best of all, this year Rails Promenade sites come already fully furnished, so all you have to do is plan the food and drink! Simply bring your own picnic, food and beverages, or let our caterers do it for you. Either way, members can book a fully-furnished site in The Rails Promenade, beautifully fitted out with comfortable seating, spacious tables, shade umbrellas and more. Guests can join your Rails Promenade picnic too, when you purchase a Rails Pedestrian Pass. This year for the first time, The Rails Pedestrian Passes allow access throughout The Rails Promenade and The Birdcage. The Rails Promenade furnished sites include a clothed dining table, 10 foldable chairs, a food station unit including storage and benchtop, a high bar table and 2 market umbrellas for shelter. Bags of ice will be available for purchase within The Rails Promenade.

The Nursery lets members design their very own BYO or catered experience for memories that will last a lifetime. Make it as grand or as casual as you wish. Have fun playing host to friends, family and colleagues, and get set to wow them with your own personal style and taste. You can choose to do it all yourself and bring along your own special picnics, hampers and beverages. Or if you prefer let our accredited hirers and caterers take care of everything for you, they’re ready to help. Your race day enjoyment is assured, with comprehensive racing coverage throughout, convenient betting facilities, live entertainment and other amenities. While there, don’t miss the fun and games in The Playpen, back again for 2022. Every day, the TAB Best Site Promotion will again award a $500 betting voucher to the lucky winner. Please note that unaccredited caterers are strictly prohibited.
