a loud voice to Jesus and asked Him to help him. Some o f the people told the blind man to keep still and not bother Jesus,; but he just cried out louder than ever, for he had heard about Jesus and he felt he' could help-him. Now Jesus heard this poor blind man calling to Him, and He felt so sorry for him He stood still in the road and told the people to tell the blind man to come to Him. How do you think the people told the blind man this good news? I am going to tell you just the words they said, and then you can say them after me. “ Be o f good comfort, rise; He calleth thee.” Just think children how happy- this blind man was to have Jesus stop and call him, and he was in such a hurry to get to Jesus he threw off his outer coat so he could walk faster, and' when he stood before Jesus, Jesus asked him what he would like to have Him do for him. Now what do you think this blind man wanted more than anything else in all the world? That is just what he asked Jesus to give him, his eyesight. This blind man believed that Jesus had power to cure his eyes, and Jesus always knows when we believe in His power, so Jesus told him to go and he would receive his sight because he believed Jesus could do it, and right away 'he could see. Who was the happiest man in the crowd that day? O f course the blind man that was not blind any more, for Jesus had given him his eyesight. He did not go and sit beside the road any more and beg, but he followed right on with Jesus. O how beautiful the mountains, trees, flowers and everything would look to him now that he could see them O

Bible. Yes, he guessed it was the Bible before I finished the verse. Robert could riot see but he could hear. Now with this handkerchief over his eyes, Robert is like the man in' our lesson today ; he could not see but he could hear. (Remove handker chief and let him take his place.) O how happy we all are this morning that we can see with our' eyes, so let us thank our heavenly Father for this great blessing, and for the precious Bible that tells us if we love Jesus we are going to see Him one of these days. “ Be o f good comfort, rise; He calleth thee.” . Lesson Story •—Jesus and his disciples had been travelling over the country together, and in those days they did not have cars and automobiles to ride in, but had to walk from town to town, so they had lots o f time to talk together. They stopped at a city called Jericho. We that live here in California would have seen many things there to make us feel at home, for they have the beautiful trees, palms, flowers and nice warm sunshine.- When Jesus and his disciples started away from Jericho, a crowd o f people followed him. Just out side the city a poor blind man sat beside the road begging. He could not see to Work, and there was no one to care for him so he had to beg so he would not starve. This blind man could not see and did not know who was coming along the road, but he could hear them walking and talking, and he wanted to know who was coming, and some one told him it was Jesus passing by with a crowd o f people following Him. As, soon as the blind man heard it was Jesus who was passing by, he called out in
