For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. to punishment before it was really neces sary ? Why did he resort to it at all ? What was the culminating atrocity o f the hus bandmen? How did the owner punish them ? Did our Lord make any application of the parable or did He leave it to carry its own message? To whom did His hearers apply it? How did their conduct resem ble the conduct o f the wicked husbandmen? Had anyone else ever applied the figure of a vineyard to the Jews. See Isaiah 3.
