There may be some fine examples of raw power on display this week, but none can compare with the performance of the JCB Fastrac. With a JCB engine boasting over 1,000hp, it stormed into the Guinness World Records book after being crowned the world’s fastest tractor. It hit a top speed of 153.771mph on its way to recording an average of 135.191mph at Elvington Airfield, York, England on 24.10.2019. In the yellow colours aboard the beast was Guy Martin, who partnered with JCB to make his recent Channel 4 show.
