Supporting Pride with Summer of Pride Campaign
At Musgrave, we are delighted to celebrate Pride and show our support for the LGBTQ+ community with our ‘Summer of Pride’ campaign, now in its second year. It is a time to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community, acknowledge the progress made and reflect on the work that still lies ahead. At Musgrave we are dedicated to supporting our LGBTQ+ colleagues, not just for the Summer of Pride but throughout the year. In partnership with PRISM, our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, Musgrave will host various activities across the Island of Ireland this summer. Events include the annual ‘Prideside in Conversation’ with internal and external speakers, local team events and awareness days.
PRISM is one of Musgrave’s five Employee Resource Groups, standing for ‘Proudly Recognising Individuality and Sexuality at Musgrave’ aimed at fostering inclusivity for the LGBTQ+ community. Key achievements include participating in Trans Inclusion training with TENI, creating a Workplace Gender Transitioning Guide, providing support on LGBTQ+ topics and currently developing an Allyship programme.
Wear With Pride
Musgrave, together with our brands including SuperValu are proud supporters of inclusive and diverse communities across the Island of Ireland. We are delighted to have our Pride rainbow laces available to buy instore. Proceeds from the sale will go to support Belong To, LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland.
