January 9, 2026 No Incidents and One Arrest One Arrest • Christopher Daniel Jones, age 36 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Three Warrants for Failure to Appear One Accident with No Injuries January 16, 2026 Incidents Two Accidents with one Injury • An accident occurred at Applebee’s parking lot, Sybil T Williams, age 75 of Fort Payne, driving a 2020 KIA, struck an unoccupied 2026 Chevrolet Equinox. Williams was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service. January 24, 2026 Incidents
• Theft of Property – Occurred at 2118 Grand Ave NW, a Frigidaire refrigerator and two heaters were taken, valued at $800.00 • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, several miscellaneous items were taken, valued at $90.73 Two Arrests • Thad Winston Heinrich, age 41 of Mentone, was arrested for Public Intoxication • Shannon Nicole Morgan, age 35 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Theft of Property Four Accidents with No Injuries January 17, 2026 Incidents • Damaged Property – Occurred at 100 Dekalb Plaza, a stop sign was damaged, valued at $100.00 • Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Occurred at 2700 Greenhill Blvd NW, a bumper on a 2011 Ford Fiesta was damaged, valued at $250.00 Four Arrests • Priscilla Patterson, age 42 of Crossville, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • Madison Rita Hollis, age 29 of Crossville, was arrested for Public Intoxication • Mateo Martin Juan, age 29 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Domestic Violence • David Omar Rivera Pascual, age 18 of Crossville, was arrested for Theft of Property One Accident with No Injuries January 18, 2026 Incidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous merchandise was taken, valued at $9.14 • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous merchandise was taken, valued at $21.73 Five Arrests • Paul Jason Barber, age 48 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI • Tristen Keith Walker, age 29 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Theft of Property and Promoting Prison Contraband • Erica Brianna Murphy, age 42 of Rainsville, was arrested for Theft of Property • Jeison Cinto, age 21 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Domestic Violence, Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest • Marvin Cinto, age 31 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Obstructing Government Operations and Resisting Arrest No Accidents January 19, 2026 Incidents • Damaged Property – Occurred at 412 Glenn Blvd SW, a hood on a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette was damaged, valued at $1500.00 No Arrest and No Accidents January 20, 2026 No Incidents, No Arrests, Three Accidents with No Injuries January 21, 2026 Incidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous items were taken, valued at $64.81 • Theft of Property – Occurred at Rib Shack, interior parts of a warming station were taken, valued at $1000.00 • Theft of Property – Occurred at 2001 Glenn Blvd SW, a wheel cap cover on a Cadillac Escalade was taken, valued at $70.00 No Arrests and One Accident with No Injuries January 22, 2026 In cidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous items were taken, valued at $16.93 No Arrests and Two Accidents with No Injuries January 23, 2026 No Incidents One Arrest • Alexander Dylan Dill, age 30 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Disorderly Conduct
• A 15 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Three Accidents with No Injuries January 10, 2026 Incidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous items were taken, valued at $45.60 • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, EverStart spotlight was taken, valued at $62.10 One Accident with No Injuries and One Arrest • Corban Daniel Patterson, age 22 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia January 11, 2026 No Incidents and Two Arrests • Latavious Landrell Williams, age 31 of Gadsden, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear • A 17 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol Two Accidents with No Injuries January 12, 2026 Incidents • Damaged Vehicle – Occurred at 2100 Godfrey Ave NE, a bumper on a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe was damaged, valued at $5000.00 Three Arrests • A 17 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol • Leigh Stiefel Mitchell, age 66 of Valley Head, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear • Kathy Diane McPherson, age 68 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Three Accidents with Four Injuries • An accident occurred at Gault Ave S and Glenn Blvd SW, Roberto Andino, age 47 of Rainsville, driving a 2015 Honda CRV, struck Tiffany Ariel Jasmine Breavers, age 34 of Section, driving a 2014 Dodge Journey. Andino and three juvenile passengers in the Dodge Journey were transported to Dekalb Regional. January 13, 2026 Incidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at 102 Greenhill Blvd, women’s blue jeans were taken, valued at $100.00 Four Arrests • David Quinelle King, age 55 of Henagar, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • A 15 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol • Mario Miguel Tomas, age 26 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Two Warrants for Failure to Appear • Donavan Wesley Blake, age 40 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI Three Accidents with No Injuries January 14, 2026 Incidents • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 151 5th Street NE, an electric hand dryer was damaged, valued at $50.00 • Damaged Property – Occurred at 102 Drinkard Drive NW, a door and fender were damaged on a 201 Chevrolet Equinox, valued at $1000.00 Three Arrests • James Christopher Schrader, age 45 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • Courtney Murphy Miller, age 45 of Dawson, was arrested on Two Warrants for Outside Agency • James Allen Thompson, age 54 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Two Warrants for Failure to Appear One Accident with No Injuries January 15, 2026 Incidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at 303 8th Street NW, silver coins were taken, valued at $500.00 • Damaged Property – Occurred at 306 8th Street SW, a quarter panel on a 1983 Chevrolet Suburban was damaged, valued at $500.00 • Damaged Property – Occurred at 300 34th Street SW, a door was damaged on a 2013 Infiniti JX35, valued at $100.00
• Theft of Property – Occurred at 1715 McCurdy Loop Road E, a Smith & Wesson 38 Special, USMC Kabar knife and sheath, an Alice belt and a forklift safety harness were taken, valued at $929.99 Four Arrests • Alondra Nalelly Velasquez, age 23 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI • Alex Manuel Jacinto, age 18 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol • Aksel Yurem Miranda Torres, age 18 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol • Andrew Alan Hindbaugh, age 39 of Collinsville, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear Two Accidents with One Injury • An accident occurred at Sylvania Road NW and Pack Road NW, Jackie Haston Easterly, age 32 of Rainsville, driving a 2013 Ford Edge, left the roadway and overturned. Easterly was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service. January 25, 2026 No Incidents Two Arrests • James Leslie Maze, age 35 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • Christopher Todd Roberts, age 35 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Public Intoxication No Accidents January 26, 2026 Incidents • Damaged Stop Sign – Occurred at 4700 Stadium Drive NE, a stop sign was damaged, valued at $100.00 • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous merchandise was taken, valued at $125.44 One Arrests • Eric Hayden Walden, age 29 of Attalla, was arrested for Domestic Violence No Accidents January 27, 2026 Incidents • Damaged Property – Occurred at 202 Greenhill Blvd NW, a hood was damaged on a 2014 Chevrolet Cruise, valued at $100.00 One Arrest • Paul Thomas Lusk Jr, age 52 of Scottsboro, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency No Accidents January 28, 2026 Incidents • Damaged Property – Occurred at 2800 Wallace Ave NE, a mirror on a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 was damaged, valued at $500.00 • Theft of Property – Occurred at 2701 Greenhill Blvd NW, miscellaneous merchandise was taken, valued at $10.00 Three Arrests • Teca Lakeisha Jones, age 49 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Public Intoxication • Justin Michael Anderson, age 37 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • A 14 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Attempting to Elude a Police Officer at 9:07 pm One Accident with No Injuries January 29, 2026 Incidents • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous merchandise was taken, valued at $56.42 • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 601 Gault Ave S, the truck bed and door handle on a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado were damaged, valued at $ 300.00 • Damaged Property – Occurred at 1812 Scenic Road E, pavement and grass were damaged, valued at $150.00 Two Arrests • Michael Jackson Clifton, age 58 of Sylvania, was arrested for Theft of Property • Annett Detrice Dennis, age 44 of Sylvania, was arrested for Theft of Property Six Accidents with No Injuries
DCSO Assists Homeland Security in Arrest of Registered Sex Offender
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office recently assisted Homeland Security Investigations in the apprehension of a registered sex offender with a final order of deportation. Nixon Rubilio-Mayen was taken into custody without incident. He was the subject of a final order of deportation and is in the custody of Homeland Security Investigators.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office continues to work closely with state and federal partners to enhance public safety and remove dangerous individuals from our communities. This cooperative effort reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting the citizens of DeKalb County and enforcing the rule of law.
“I am extremely thankful for the strong working relationship we have with our federal partners. Cooperation with agencies like Homeland Security Investigations allows us to better protect our community and ensure those who pose a threat to public safety are held accountable," said Sheriff Nick Welden.
