Mark Henry Mark is Director of the Texas Reliability Entity’s Reliability Services group, which produces long-term reliability assessments, performance analysis, review of disturbance events, and situational awareness monitoring for the bulk power system. Since the February 2011 southwest cold weather event, his team has engaged generators with workshops and site visits to promote best practices for winter preparation. Prior to this role, he helped develop and manage reliability compliance programs for NERC Standards and regional criteria in the ERCOT Region. Mark’s prior assignments included generation, transmission, and control center operations as an engineer and engineering supervisor for the Lower Colorado River Authority. Mark is a licensed Texas professional engineer, a Certified Energy Manager, and a BSEE graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, with a graduate certificate in Telecommunication Management from St. Edwards University. Louis Guidry Louis Guidry is a registered Professional Engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering and has been with Cleco for 35 years. Louis' career at Cleco has included work related to substation design; communication systems; transmission system planning; transmission relaying and controls; system protection planning and design; and system protection apparatus maintenance. I n 2006, Louis began working exclusively in the area of NERC reliability compliance and in 2011 was promoted to Manager - NERC Compliance & Training. In 2019, Louis transitioned back into operations when he became Manager of Transmission Operations. Currently, Louis is Director of Transmission & Distribution Maintenance which includes all substation maintenance plus transmission line maintenance. In addition to his work experience at Cleco, Louis has earned the NERC System Operator Certification of Reliability Operator. Louis was past Chairman of the SPP System Protection and Control Working Group and he also served on the SPP Reliability Compliance Group. Currently, Louis is serving on the NERC System Protection and Control Working Group (SPCWG) and the Misoperation Information Data Analysis System (MIDAS)
