PRIMARY DIVISION ATHLETICS
On Tuesday, four of our Primary students represented The Lakes at Division Athletics!
Well done to Kara, Sienna and Anthem for competing at this level.
BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Amrit in Year 6, for coming second in both his long jump and shot put and will now go on to compete at the Regional finals!
SECONDARY BASKETBALL
Congratulations to our Year 7 boys and girls interschool basketball teams. These teams competed on Tuesday 27th August at Diamond Valley Stadium. Both teams played some great basketball but unfortunately neither made it through to the next round. A special thank you to Ben M for training and coaching the boys and to Havey M for stepping in at the last minute to help with the girls.
SECONDARY GYMNASTICS
Recently, three of our students competed for The Lakes in our first ever interschool gymnastics competition. Ella, Tessa and Kiara performed routines on the uneven bars, beam, vault and floor. We were only one of two state schools competing against both Independent and Private secondary schools. The girls were nervous but performed outstanding routines. Thanks to Ella for getting our College involved in this competition. The girls were amazing and should be so proud of their efforts.
