On Thursday 19th September, The Lakes had a Footy Day where students dressed up in their sports team clothes! The money that was raised will go towards school benches for both Primary and Secondary Campuses. Our SRC students have been working hard on organising our 2024 Lakes Colour Run for Term 4!
Students will be given free sunglasses and a rainbow headband for the event. Students will be covered in non - toxic, biodegradable colour powder from head to toe. Colour powder is made of high - quality corn starch and permitted food colours. Safety data sheet is available upon request.
Get your Colour on, The Lakes is hosting a Colour Explosion Run 4 Fun!
Not only are we hosting an awesome Colour Explosion Run 4 Fun, but students can also order up to a total of 5 prizes based on their donations received. They can even mix and match! Don ’ t want the prizes, donate your donations to one of the five causes – Carbon Neutral (tree planting), Great Barrier Reef Foundation (coral planting or turtle protection), The Smith Family (reading support) or OzHarvest (providing meals). Students will receive a sponsorship book with instructions on setting up their cybersafe, online fundraising profile at www.australianfundraising.com.au. This is an entirely online fundraiser; all cash donations must be converted to online donations to redeem your prizes. Please make sure students wear a WHITE shirt and closed in shoes. OUR COLOUR EXPLOSION RUN 4 FUN WILL BE ON 28TH NOVEMBER, TERM 4!
