For Bj, it really is about helping others live a healthy quality lifestyle and being there to help her leaders achieve what they are capable of. “This is a business where you are your own CEO of your company. You set your store hours and who comes through your door. The action and result is what you put into it. There are ups and downs, and I have learned to focus on what I can control. I have learned to manage my time and work with those who really want to be successful. In the past perhaps I have wanted it more than that particular leader, or really believed in someone when they did not believe in themselves. The way I look at it, I have two options. I can either do enough to get by and have that duplicate within my team, or I can choose to give my best to everyone, every month encouraging my team to do the same. I can only imagine the difference in what the result will be.”

Mixed with joy, excitement and tears of happiness, the journey has been well worth it for Bj. She enrolled in August 2004, and ten years later is continuing to see her business thrive and advance. With the support of her two boys and father who is quite ill, Bj made it a point in 2015 to elevate her business by helping her team achieve their goals. “The theme for 2015 was New Day and it really resonated with me. Why could it not be a New Day for my team and I? I made the decision early on in the year to go all in, and focus on the activities that will help my business grow – Critical Activities One and Two . As a result, I have helped now personal Director 8 Diane Alca and her personal Director 7, Tanya Weiden move their business that much closer to Senior Director. I fell in love with both of them and made their reasons for needing to be successful with Melaleuca part of my own”. I had always heard Corporate Director 8, Alan and Sandra Pariser talk about finding a running mate, and they were so right!
