THE 2025 GENERAL ELECTION Any person wishing to register to vote in this election must do so no later than Saturday, October 4, 2025. One may register online at www.scvotes.gov or contact the Horry County Board of Voter Registration at (843) 915-5440. Absentee ballots must be obtained through the Horry County Voter Registration Office located in Conway. Any runoff will be held two weeks after the election on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The early voting period starts on Monday, October 20, 2025, and ends Friday, October 31, 2025 (closed on Saturday and Sunday). Early voting will take place at the Horry County Voter Registration Office, located at 1515 4th Avenue, Conway, S.C. 29526. Their hours are 8:30 AM to 5 PM. If you are registered to vote in North Myrtle Beach in this election, be aware that all precincts vote for all candidates. For example, if you live in Ocean Drive, you may vote for the candidate of your choice in the Ocean Drive Ward and for the candidate of your choice in the Windy Hill Ward. You are not limited to voting only for a candidate who represents the Ward in which you reside. The polls will open at 7 AM on Election Day and close at 7 PM. At the close of the polls, the North Myrtle Beach Election Commission will count the absentee ballots at City Hall. The Commission will meet at City Hall at 10 AM on Thursday, November 6, 2025, to certify the election and determine the validity of ballots challenged in the election.
