Experience the lights, music, and festive spirit only found in Kansas City during Christmastime. The first stop will include a tour of the historic Union Station with its 95-foot ceilings, rail exhibit, planetarium, and more. The evening will be spent driving through the “Christmas in the Park” light extravaganza featuring more than 300,000 glowing bulbs and 175 animated displays.
Day two will begin with a visit to The Roasterie. Sample the famous coffee while learning about the unique coffee production processes. At the Money Museum, explore details of the American economy through challenges and education, like lifting a gold bar worth more than $500,000 and trying to spot counterfeit money. The Christmas theme will continue at the Crown Center to
see the 100-foot tall Mayor’s Christmas tree before enjoying a blast from the past at the Johnson County Museum’s 1950s All-Electric House.
