DAY 3 GLACIER 3000 I LAVAUX I YVERDON The 3rd day will bring you with up and down emotions, from mid high alpine area up to the top of the Glacier 3000, followed by a train ride and some wine tasting in the Lavaux UNESCO heritage and perhaps end the day in a hot thermal bath in Yverdon Les Bains. This day is full of discoveries ! First proceed to the Glacier 3000 located at the Col Du Pillon 30min away from Gstaad. Enjoy the impressive view of the Alps full panorama. If the weather permit, walk across “The Peak Walk by Tissot”, the world’s longest suspended bridge between 2 peaks. The activity will be followed by an early lunch. After lunch, back in Gstaad to board on the famous Golden Pass Train to Montreux. Sit back and relax a great 2.5h train journey.
Reaching Montreux, enjoy some free time in the afternoon before a wine tasting at one of the winery located in the Lavaux area between Montreux to Lausanne. Later, proceed to your Hotel, located in Yverdon in approximatively 1hour drive for check in and dinner. After this day full of adventure you may wish to take some time in the Themal Bath near by depending where your hotel is located.
