Clay Animation and Comic Books Spring Break Camp Students create an online animated movie, and a comic book to take home the last day. iPads are provided to take animation photos of clay, edit video and sound, while traditional art supplies are used for the comic book, while students learn character design, storytelling, drawing and shading. Volunteer Opportunities at Farrel-McWhirter (Ages 12-16) Love animals? Need community service hours for NHS or college apps? Join the Farrel-McWhirter Volunteer Program and get hands on experience with horses and livestock, helping children learn about agriculture and the equestrian world. The Volunteer Program holds monthly meetings, offers horseback riding opportunities, educational outings, and hands-on animal trainings. Applications are accepted year-round; however, there are only two new member orientations. One in January, and one in Spring. Depending on the availability and openings, an additional orientation may be added. You must attend a New Volunteer Orientation prior to starting! Volunteer Program fees are $75 per year (not prorated). Interested individuals will receive information about registering after their application has been received.
