Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week powered by Johnson Controls Each year the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrines a class of football’s greatest players, coaches and contributors. The celebration includes the Enshrinement Ceremony, NFL Hall of Fame Game and Concert for Legends, among a variety of other festivities surrounding this momentous annual occasion.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon

Canton Charge Canton Charge is a professional bas- ketball team from the NBA G League, powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Regular-season games are played No- vember through March at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

This annual event is a Hall of Fame themed experience with all events starting and finishing on the grounds of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village. The weekend includes a marathon, a half-marathon, relays, a Draft Day 5K, a Kids Mini Marathon and the Health & Fitness Race Expo.

OUTDOOR RECREATION

The Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail The Towpath Trail is an 87-mile trail that traverses the Ohio & Erie Canal National Heritage Area. The primarily crushed limestone path begins south of Canton in Tuscarawas Coun- ty. The longest stretch, 25 miles of the towpath, cuts through Stark County then continues north through Akron, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and continues up to Lake Erie’s shore in Cleveland. Jackson Bog State Nature Preserve Also in Stark County, the Jackson Bog State Nature Pre- serve, a 58-acre preserve that supports more than 20 state-listed rare plants, is a great location for bird watching. Ohio’s Golf Capital Stark County is also self-proclaimed as Ohio’s Golf Capital. It has the most courses per capita in the state, over 20 public courses and private country clubs, including a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.

Stark Parks, Marinas & Trails 8,053 acres of land • 121.48 miles of shared trail • 37.77 miles of equestrian trails

Today, Stark Parks manages over 8,000 acres of land and more than 110 miles of trail in Stark County, 25.8 of which are along the Towpath Trail. Boats, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks, and picnic shelters are available at our various parks. The Clubhouse is located at Sippo Lake Park East in the Administration building near the marina and is perfect for groups up to 55. Formal meeting rooms and a banquet facility are also available at the Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park North’s 12th Street entrance. Rooms can comfortably accommodate groups up to 175 and are great for weddings, receptions, birth- day parties, reunions and so much more! The marinas at Sippo Lake Park and Walborn Reservoir offer fishing and rentals, including canoes, kayaks, row boats, motor boats, stand-up paddle boards and pedal boats.
