6.10 MEDIA & PUBLIC STATEMENTS All media inquiries regarding Tampa Brass & Aluminum Corp. must be referred to the President. Only the President, or an employee specifically designated by the President, is authorized to make public statements on behalf of the Company. Employees may not provide comments, statements, or representations to the media or the public regarding Company matters without prior approval. Any employee wishing to write or publish an article, paper, or other communication on behalf of the Company must obtain advance written approval from the President. TBA is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal electronic devices brought onto Company property. 6.9 PERSONAL ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT Personal electronic devices, including cell phones, cameras, radios, music players, TVs, and recording devices, may not be used for personal purposes during working hours. The use of personal devices to take photos, videos, or recordings on Company property is strictly prohibited unless written authorization has been granted. Personal visits and phone calls are not permitted in work areas or during work time. Work time refers to periods when employees are expected to perform job duties and excludes meals or authorized breaks. Work areas are locations where job tasks are performed; non-work areas include designated lunch and break spaces. 6.11 PERSONAL VISITS & PHONE CALLS
6.7 SOCIAL MEDIA Employees may maintain personal accounts but must not disclose Company confidential or proprietary information. No posting of photos, videos, or descriptions of TBA parts, products, or facilities without HR’s written approval. Personal social media must not interfere with work. If mentioning TBA while expressing personal opinions, employees must include a disclaimer that views are their own. Posts must comply with all Company policies, including anti-harassment and code of conduct standards.
6.8 SOLICITATION & DISTRIBUTION
To prevent disruption and maintain productivity, solicitation of any kind is prohibited while employees are on work time. “Work time” means the period when an employee is engaged, or should be engaged, in performing work tasks. Solicitation is only permitted when all employees involved are on non-work time and in non-work areas, such as the lunchroom. Distribution of literature, advertising, or other materials is prohibited in work areas at all times. Non-employees may not solicit or distribute materials on Company property under any circumstances. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
