I’ve run my own successful business for many years and have seen it all—the good and the bad within the construction industry. When Danny first approached me and shared his vision of building the best construction company in Edinburgh, I was immediately drawn in. He spoke with conviction—describing that there is zero desire to become the biggest company, but there is no other goal than to be the best, known for quality and trust, with nothing less up for discussion or to be accepted. With no other compromise, that distinction said everything. Right away, I could see the potential in what DTJ was aiming to become. As a former Royal Marine Reservist and experienced mountaineer, I’ve built my life around discipline, leadership, and pushing beyond limits. These values have shaped how I approach both work and life— allowing me to lead with confidence and determination. Being asked to manage and guide this team of skilled tradesmen across multiple projects has been both an honour and a pleasure.
